While creating illustrations for Cintra we have purposely aimed for a more subtle and painterly style. I rarely have occasion and time to just paint away without pushing for realism, so this one was a welcomed break :) (Also, researching medieval headpieces is something I will not resist any day :D)
Fun fact - the sketch originally was an idea I had reserved for Cerys, but it found its use here ;)
